Privacy Policy

Yatishara Studio (“Studio”) is a creative production platform at studio.yatishara.com, owned and operated by Mercury Technologies (“Mercury Technologies”, “we”, “us”) in Trinidad and Tobago. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers people who create an account, purchase Studio plans or credits, buy Academy courses, use the Asset Library, or otherwise use Studio. Related Yatishara websites (including yatishara.com and link.yatishara.com) may have their own notices where they differ.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, username, profile details, and authentication records (including email magic links / one-time codes).
  • Billing data: plan selections, invoice history, credit balances, and payment references. Card details are processed by our payment partners (for example Wam); we do not store full card numbers on Studio servers.
  • Content you upload or generate: project files, images, video, audio, scripts, prompts, briefs, and related metadata needed to run the product.
  • Communications: messages you send in Studio (including DMs), support requests, and WhatsApp or email you send to our team about Studio.
  • Usage and device data: product events, approximate location derived from IP, browser/app type, and technical logs for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and improve Studio (accounts, generation, storage, editing, Academy, network features).
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and handle refunds or chargebacks.
  • Send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, plan notices). Marketing messages only where allowed and with an easy opt-out.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that host or support Studio (cloud hosting, storage/CDN, email, AI model providers, analytics needed to operate the product), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Payment partners to process transactions you start.
  • Other Studio users when you choose to share, post, message, or list content publicly.
  • TikTok, when you connect a TikTok account in Studio Settings and when you choose to post a video to TikTok. That sends the video file plus the caption and privacy choices you pick, and we store TikTok login tokens so we can post for you until you disconnect.
  • LinkedIn, when you connect a LinkedIn account in Studio Settings and when you choose to share a Studio image or video there. That sends the file plus the caption and visibility you pick, and we store LinkedIn login tokens so we can post for you until you disconnect.
  • Google, when you connect a Google account from Settings or Connectors. Connecting Google is optional and is not how you sign in to Studio. Depending on what you enable, we use YouTube to post videos and read channel or analytics data, Google Drive for files Studio creates or you open with the picker (not your full Drive), Calendar for events you start, and Gmail to send mail you start. We store encrypted Google login tokens until you disconnect.
  • Authorities when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

5. Social connections

Connecting TikTok is optional. Studio uses TikTok Login Kit so you can sign in with your TikTok account, and the Content Posting API so you can post a finished Studio video to that account. We receive your TikTok open id, display name, and avatar when you connect. TikTok may also send us status notices when a post finishes, fails, or when you disconnect the app. We do not post anything until you pick a video and confirm the post. You can disconnect TikTok in Settings → Account details. After you disconnect we delete the stored TikTok tokens. Videos already posted on TikTok stay on TikTok under TikTok’s terms.

Connecting LinkedIn is optional. Studio uses Sign In with LinkedIn (OpenID Connect) so you can sign in with your LinkedIn account, and Share on LinkedIn so you can post a finished Studio image or video to that account. We receive your LinkedIn member id, name, and avatar when you connect. We do not post anything until you pick a file and confirm the post. You can disconnect LinkedIn in Settings → Account details. After you disconnect we delete the stored LinkedIn tokens. Posts already published on LinkedIn stay on LinkedIn under LinkedIn’s terms.

Connecting Google is optional. You connect from Settings or Connectors. This is not Studio sign-in. For YouTube we receive your Google identity (openid, email, and profile), and we use the YouTube and YouTube Analytics read scopes so you can post a finished Studio video to your channel and so we can show channel and analytics data. We store those tokens encrypted until you disconnect.

Drive, Calendar, and Gmail use a separate workspace connection. Drive access is limited to files Studio creates or you open with the Google picker. We do not request access to your full Drive. Calendar is used for events you start. Gmail send is used only for mail you start. We do not post videos, create events, or send mail until you start those actions. You can disconnect Google in Settings or Connectors. After you disconnect we delete the stored Google tokens. Videos already posted on YouTube, files already in Drive, calendar events, and mail already sent stay on Google under Google’s terms. We do not sell Google user data. We use it only to provide the features you start. Studio’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Retention

We keep account, billing, and content records as long as your account is active and as needed for security, accounting, dispute handling, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of account data where the law allows; some records (for example paid invoices) may need to be retained.

7. Security

Studio uses HTTPS, access controls, and restricted server environments. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we use reasonable industry practices to protect data.

8. Your choices

  • Update profile and account details in Studio settings.
  • Disconnect TikTok, LinkedIn, or Google in Settings or Connectors.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us (subject to legal limits).
  • Stop using Studio and close your account; unused prepaid credits may be subject to the Terms / refund policy.

9. Children

Studio is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International processing

Studio is owned and operated by Mercury Technologies from Trinidad and Tobago and may process data on servers or with vendors in other countries. By using Studio you understand that information may be transferred to those locations with appropriate safeguards where required.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
